The unscheduled treatment report equips your front desk with a systematic tool to follow up with patients who were recently seen and had newly planned treatment procedures that they have yet to schedule or to complete. This report is sent every Monday morning and will include patients from three, eight, and 16 weeks prior.
This report does not include hygiene procedures, with the exception of SRP (D4341/D4342), and procedures must have a minimum fee of $100. This report also filters out patients who have an appointment scheduled within the next three weeks. Phone numbers being transferred on this report are sorted by priority. That priority is Cellular/Mobile if present, then Home phone.
The goal is not only to find restorative dentistry for your doctor to complete and your front desk team to get them in the schedule, but to keep those patients with larger treatment plans from falling into the cracks of your practice's systems and being forgotten until their next recall appointment.
In addition to the patient’s basic info, the following info is included:
DateTP - When the patient was seen and the date the treatment was planned.
NextAppt - If the patient has a future appointment scheduled it will be listed here.
Procs - Count of the procedures treatment planned and the abbreviated descriptions (might be truncated).
Fees - Total fees of the treatment plans.
